New CEO of Van Cleef and Arpels
Richemont announced today that Catherine Rénier, currently the CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre, will take over from Nicolas Bos as the CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels starting 1 September 2024. She will report to Bos, who was recently named CEO of Richemont.
Mrs. Rénier, the new ceo of van cleef and arpels, a French national, has over 20 years of experience in the jewelry and luxury watchmaking sectors at Richemont. She joined the Group in 1999 as Cartier North America’s Retail Development Director in New York.
In 2003, the new ceo of van cleef and arpels moved to Paris to become Van Cleef and Arpels’ Deputy Marketing Manager, contributing significantly to the Maison’s development. In 2008, she relocated to Hong Kong to support the Maison’s growth in the Asia Pacific Region, serving as Commercial Director, then Managing Director for Hong Kong & Macau SAR, China in 2011, and finally as President for Asia Pacific, a role she held for eight years. Mrs. Rénier became CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre in 2018.
Regarding Catherine Rénier’s appointment, Nicolas Bos, CEO of Richemont, said:

Philippe Hermann, Chief Financial Officer, will serve as interim CEO for Jaeger-LeCoultre until a new CEO is appointed.
